Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of NexEdu AI Tutoring Ltd ("NexEdu", "we", "us", "our") and its AI-powered educational platform. By subscribing to or using NexEdu services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
1. Company Information
NexEdu AI Tutoring Ltd provides AI-powered educational tutoring services aligned with the UK curriculum. These services are delivered digitally through an automated artificial intelligence system (CHATGPT API).
2. Service Description
NexEdu provides structured AI-guided tutoring sessions for Key Stage 1 (KS1), Key Stage 2 (KS2) and Key Stage 3 (KS3) learners. Each subscription includes:
- Up to 30 minutes of tutoring per child per day
- Session reset at 12:00am (midnight) UK time
- AI-generated end-of-session progress report
- Access to subject content aligned with the UK curriculum
NexEdu is an educational support tool and does not replace formal schooling or certified professional teaching.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
- Each child requires an individual subscription.
- All major debit and credit cards are accepted.
- Subscriptions may be monthly or annual, depending on the plan selected.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
No Refund Policy
All payments are final. NexEdu AI Tutoring Ltd does not provide refunds under any circumstances, including partial months, unused sessions, or early cancellations.
Cancellation
Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time prior to renewal. Annual subscriptions may be cancelled before renewal but are non-refundable once payment has been processed.
4. Free Trial
NexEdu may offer a limited 5-minute free trial to new users. Free trial access does not create any contractual obligation.
5. AI System & Educational Output
NexEdu utilises advanced artificial intelligence technology to generate educational content dynamically. The system is heavily configured and restricted to ensure age-appropriate, curriculum-aligned responses suitable for children.
As with all AI technologies, responses are generated algorithmically and may vary in structure or phrasing. NexEdu continuously refines system safeguards to maintain suitability and educational relevance.
Limitation of Responsibility
By using NexEdu, parents and guardians acknowledge that AI-generated educational content is automated. NexEdu AI Tutoring Ltd shall not be held liable for:
- Interpretation of AI-generated responses
- Reliance on AI-generated educational guidance
- Academic outcomes or examination performance
- Any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages
- System interruptions, technical delays or availability issues
Use of the platform is at the subscriber’s discretion and risk.
6. Acceptable Use
Users agree not to:
- Attempt to manipulate or misuse the AI system
- Use the service for unlawful purposes
- Attempt unauthorised access to the platform
- Share subscription credentials outside their household
7. Data & Privacy
We process user data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using NexEdu, you consent to data processing as described therein.
8. Intellectual Property
All platform content, branding, software and AI configurations remain the intellectual property of NexEdu AI Tutoring Ltd. Users may not copy, distribute or commercially exploit platform content.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NexEdu AI Tutoring Ltd excludes all liability arising from the use or inability to use the platform. This includes, but is not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages.
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude liability where it cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Updates to Terms
NexEdu AI Tutoring Ltd reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
